Governor Radda Congratulates Katsina State Indigenes on Recent Presidential Appointments

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD, warmly congratulates fellow Katsina indigenes on their recent appointments by Nigeria's President, Bola Tinubu.

Aminu Maida has been named the new Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). Aminu brings with him over 15 years of international experience in areas like FinTech, Telecoms, and Enterprise Technology.

The Governor’s felicitation was contained in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed.

Before this appointment, Maida held positions at the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS) and Arca Payments Network, where he was the Chief Technology Officer. His track record shows his expertise in these professional fields.

Aisha Rimi, another proud Katsina indigene, with an impressive 32-year career in legal, business and strategic communications skills delivered globally across various industries, will now lead the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC).

Her extensive experience in foreign investment, project financing, and regulatory compliance aligns perfectly with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to boost the country's investment profile.

His Excellency expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for appointing these individuals from his state and advised them to be good ambassadors of Katsina State.

Governor Radda stated that Katsina State is known for producing talented professionals who have contributed significantly to nation-building.

He said these significant appointments from Katsina State highlight the state's role in Nigeria's growth and development.
